n4n0's MSN HAS BEEN HACKED! Paying back those who got scammed.

Well I wish I saw this post earlier or something lol, There goes 110m -.-

 

I'm still unsure on why N4N0 isn't banned yet, him being unbanned will allow more people to get scammed >_>.
Fail on staff's part if you ask me. He should be banned until he has full access of his email. Also, everytime someone's msn gets hacked, they're banned. Why isn't he now?

Nothing against n4n0 of course, just pointing out that by him staying unbanned will hurt him even more.

He isn't banned because his account is not in any danger.

 

Does it matter? When people's msn accounts have been hacked in the past, not their sythe.org accounts, they're still banned.

For all we know, n4n0 could be making this all up. Highly undoubtful, but what if this is the case?

Anyway, if he does stay unbanned, all that is going to happen is he's going to be down more money, as more people will probably end up trading with him.

 

I've already sniffed the hackers IP with some help from Time to Buy (thanks for supplying your MSN), and we're dealing with it as we must.

 

N4n0, your contributions to the community are ridiculous.

But how did your windows live id get compromised? He didn't know your security question, or an email you had your windows live id linked too. The chances of him guessing your password are too slim to make it a realistic possibility, and I'm sure you didn't get keylogged.

 

Dude..don't post things like this. It doesn't help anyone and just makes N4N0 feel worse. If you have no proof, don't bother. I say this with the best of intentions.

 

And it is going to be near impossible for you to prove who was scammed/is cooperating with the hacker to forge logs.

 

If you have proof I'm 100% SURE N4n0, would more than happily refund, but I'm guessing you have none what-so-ever, I bet you can't go to your MSN history and find one bit of chat history in the time that it was not in his possession.

If I'm being dumb and am wrong, then post proof and pm N4n0, your get it back.

 

I think he should be banned for absolutely not knowing what hes talking about. Literally. Some one posted you scammed me 21.5K$ and at the bottom it says joke and this kid posts it Lol.

OT - Punker i agree with what you have to say and i didnt think of the situation with nate. Yeah that kid got scammed for 10B and didnt report it lol.

 

Listen guys! VOLTDAX is a SCAMMER! was banned by SIN666 mod because of the clear evidence of scamming a green partyhat from a new member, because of his highly trusted vouches by mods and highly ranked people, I am glad that voltdax got scammed by the scammer (even though its wasn't right) but Karma is a bitch for voltdax isn't it lol. And as for n4no getting hacked, once the ip is traced, it can be routed and sent in for investigation and the scammer will be prosecuted from there.

 

erg- unfortunately I should have taken screenshots of the in-game trade, and I don't have the screen window open from yesterday. I can also provide chat logs (though they aren't counted as evidence in report a scammer section as they can be fabricated) and any other information/details needed.

I didn't think of asking for a PM considering I had checked his MSN address and confirmed that it was his/they matched. Had a trade- the supposed n4n0 was buying 170m for $88, thought it was a fair price.

 

wow its crazy because i was planning to sell 700m to n4n0 but i found it weird to him making excuses why he couldent pm me so i said ill only trade when you send me a pm and i got blocked on msn lol

 

Wow some unfortunate news. After researching the security of msn along with hush email...
!) The odds of obtaining someone ELSE window id, password, and security protection (unless given) is EXTREMELY difficult.

2) Hush makes you log in to your email at least once every 15 days, (i know it seems to be a long extended period) but with hush's security comes recovery questions, your own personal saying, and password protection. After the fact, you can also pay a yearly subscription for guaranteed security.

3) The way msn works and runs, stops hackers from receiving any information, (such as a normal email)

4) The conversations held by the victim and the supposed fake "n4n0" sounds like an elementary school kid who stole someones money. Which leads to the fact that, the supposed hacker might not be as intelligent to steal a highly protected MSN/Hush information from a sophisticated mod and a well known person in the sythe community...creating suspicion.

To many things are coming together, leading up to false accusations. Just sit back and look at the picture and put two and two together....

the supposed hijacker will be caught. Don't forget, ip spoofers/jumpers are easy to use and even easier to detect. Gl to the sythe team in finding answers!

 

We've already got a name, no VPNs or any other proxies were used by the hacker.

 

In addition to the above, I'd like to have some investigation done into n4n0 and his account security, how was his MSN hacked? n4n0 could have been falsifying himself and pretending to be the scammer, and whilst he does that he may gain profit (some people may have insufficient evidence or not report), as well as getting away with it freely (with blame on the hacker), although this is very unlikely (n4n0 is a nice guy-- i'm just throwing this out there). I'm sure others have vouched for him and know him in real life, etc.) There's hardly a chance he would scam, considering his donation title and reputation, but I'd like to know how this happened; the hacker could have scammed much more had it not been for warnings/only the live address was hacked, not all of n4n0's accounts (could gain access to Sythe PM).

edit: nevermind, whilst I was posting, the above post appeared, though, would still like to know how it happened.

Pretty much looking up his information and attempting to recover his account.

 

real life friends aren't allowed to vouch, its against the rules.

 

I mean that he has people in real-life that know him and that he's trustworthy, and confirm that (ie; other staff members that know n4n0, and other stuff).

 

It is very easy to revert a Windows Live ID... just sayin'

I don't know how they found out his email though.
