Bannable or not because i have two conflicting mod statements

JohnK says - Compile a scam report in report a scammer

Alteranz says - Being a member of Hackforum's isn't a bannable offense, Staff members here have accounts on it in fact - it's more if they've been taking part in malicious or dangerous activity on those forums.

I meant compile a scam report in Report a Scammer so a moderator could actually deal with it accordingly. Being a member there doesn't mean you are banned here, there has to be malicious activity on the account.

 

Hey man, I think Alteranz just expanded on what JohnK said, he's not really contradicting what he said.

In short though, unless they're partaking in some of the malicious activities there, there aren't doing any harm being a member there. It's not encouraged, but it's not breaching any rules.

 

So its ok to have an account on there just as long as it isnt into the hacking part of the site?

 

Yes. That is correct.

 

That's correct - as long as you're not interested in hacking, phishing, scamming, etc, you are allowed to have an account there.

I have seen people TWCed for stating they are a member on hack forums, this could be for other reasons though.
