Runescape popularity on the decline?

Just to clarify rs is older than wow and there are many aspects of wow that were already in existence prior to it's release like hot bars.

Rs is not becoming like wow rs it is becomming more like a MMO with includes certain game aspects that people would expect of an mmo.

Runescape combat system is flawed and they want to make it bette. Having to play in small or fixed sized resolution proves this. It is common sense that changing the game to make it playable in HD without a disadvantage was inevitable.

 

i think the overall popularity is increasing, it's just that there aren't so many bots running anymore, I mean people actually need to find time to play rather than having multiple bots running wile AFK

So many people have started playing again

People often forget the difference between how many are online playing and how many actually play. The bot population was always skewed because they were on 24/7.

 

The game is far from dead, 50-60k people online at all times is more then enough.

 

I think it's growing with up an coming new players. Ppl seem to be fooled thinking it's declining but really there's no bots and just legit players
