i voted 2003, RSC's prime

 

2005-2007 for sure.

 

I'd either have to go for 2002 or now tbh.

If I had to choose between the 2, I might stick with now, simply because of the different PvM experiences and ease-of-access for various things. Magic was bloody expensive to train in RSC, due to no RuneCrafting. Add in the GE for buying those random, hard to find items, and you save a lot of time/effort (I used to not mind walking across RS just to get 1 item I needed, but now I could never bother with that).

Anywhere you place a time period in RS2, there were still mass amounts of botting, whereas in RSC it was more like a community (especially with not having a level beside your name except in the Wilderness, a lot less people calling people noob!).

 

2005 - 2007, where the game was enjoyable.

 

For me, it was 2006. I became member for the first time during that year

 

03-07 for sure. *sigh* I miss the good ole' days.

 

06-07, first year I joined Runescape was in 06. That is when i truely grew on the game. 07. First time I ever got over 50M. The day was fucking epic tbh. Oh and in 07 I got my first 99 (cooking) haha

 

I had most fun in 2010 and 2006 to be honest. Free trade kind of took all the fun I had adapted to out.

Between 05 and 07 before they shifted all the game to end game and you could just play casually and actually get somewhere in the game.

 

I voted for 2006.

I played from 2001 to 2006 and all my best memories were PKing during 04-06, and being involved in many different high levelled clans back then and being very active on RS. I miss those old days so much.

I've been actively training a new PVP account since I came back to RS in June, but the wilderness, and actually the whole GAME, is just so different now. There are alot of cool things in modern RS, but I don't think anything will ever come close to how much fun I had back in those early days.

2011 for sure. I see them going in the right direction. We all say the earlier years because that's when we started playing and actually played for fun. It's different now, but it's a great game.
