    Is this even possible?
    I heard a while ago that it's impossible to use a proxy to hide your IP when using Java applications, like RS. Then when i was talking to kevin001, hes said this:

    I know Kevin is trusted, and I doubt he'd try to be deceitful, however, I'm just not sure. So I was wondering, is this even possible?

    This ^ Or maybe using a VPS.

    Both of these would allow him to change his IP from a Chinese one to one in the US.

    vpn. I use the one made for bbc iplayer.

    Google "how to watch bbc iplayer". this is not phish btw...

    I used a proxy once and the first thing Mod Chrisso replied to me (was using a fresh lvl 3) was 'Hi ifh'.

    I wouldn't count on it.

    It is possible , I use proxy's while conducting all my RWT , If you haven't figured it out yet pm me and perhaps i can help out

    It's because jagex specifically targets Chinese IPs for mass-bans and such. Nothing deceitful about it, Kevin's just trying to protect his business

    Use Mozilla Firefox, search for some SOCKS5 proxies, find one you want to use with low latency, and go Options > Advanced Tab > Network Tab > Settings under Connection > Manual proxy configuration > Enter IP address and port > Ok > Ok, and you're done. You can now log into RS using a proxy.

    You can also just log in on a U.S. VPS and achieve the same result.

    probably using a http proxy, or you didn't delete your cache specifically random.dat before logging in

    Probably that, but they likely use things other than IP adress as well.

    Yes you can use a VPN to hide your IP on Java applications.

    Even an amateur can mask his IP address nowdays
