Skype anyone ?

Which communication program should be used as a official sythe trade tool ? Possible options:

Windows Live Messanger
Skype
Facebook...
other

 

It will always be Messenger, sorry.

 

I personaly prefer skype but then again if someone scams you, if you decided you both had a mic and talked you have no proof unless you record it but then its hard to determine wether its fake or not, because it is really easy to record over or add different audio to a video or whatever it may be it would make it to easy for people to be set up ect.

Msn has all its imposters and I think it is a decent way to communicate but chat logues are nor applicable so you have to sit and take a photo op of your msn conversation and there are so many domains that a lot of people get scammed purley by not asking for PMs and people bringing in fake MMs ect, the same B.S

Facebook would never work cause you could just make someones name to match the name in their sythe profile and make fake proof for whatever you please ect.

The only way I think that we could have a better system for the s if we actually just used sythe to talk to each other and make this a better place to trade and to really crack down on scammers is if you provide a chat service through sythe you could use the same set up as facebook we already have the ability to add each other to our buddy lists just no real reason to, if you had a list of friends that you could have on a pop up menu and then simply click on their name and it would bring out the more social side of sythe and make it very easy to get in contact with other users to instigate trades amongst each other, if you also implicated a new ranking for disputes/claims/scam reports like "Live Chat Assistant" or soemthing along the lines, then we could handle all accusations and claims and get them figured out through the live chat and the staff could have access to chat logues of the ALL conversations via sythe chat at their disposal iliminating the entire screen shot, fake proof bull shit and making this an extremley legitimate plaace to trade.

No support, MSN is by far the easiest. Feel free to use Skype, but MSN just has more security features.

 

MSN will always be the most popular and most used.

 

I figured my way would make sure there is no way getting around a scam, also give more oppertunity for people to give back to the community and join sythe's staff, along with getting rid of the dispute/report a scammer and all the conplaints about the scamming that goes on in this forum on a daily.

 

Not sure if this is a serious suggestion.

Yeah. MSN is the most popular.
In fact, everyone who trades here, 90% of them has MSN.

 

Thanks everyone for commenting, some of you like skype and some like msn, but i'd do not agree that msn is most popular and most secure, skype on the other hand is easyer to use (records chat, history and ect..) allso its more secure, because when you add new contact you add his skype name, not email. I will try and make a poll on this one just to see how it goes (if i find how to make one lol)

 

MSN is the most popular, Facebook chat is just far too buggy.

 

People can use what ever the hell they want to trade, there should be any restrictions on what people can or can not use, as some people may not be able to use some of the methods of communication.

As long as you have screen shots and can prove who you are talking to then you are fine.

Skype definately. Skype is not being accepted for OMM proofs, what should be definately changed.

 

There won't be a OFFICIAL one. MSN is the most used one, something that won't change any soon.

On the other hand, I agree with WeRnIS, Skype proofs should be accepted for OMM app.

 

Most people use MSN Messenger as it can be accessed via Online Messenger websites and Hotmail ​

 

There is NO official program, only multiple accepted programs
