Facebook for trades

Idk if this will be any good but instead of using msn as like disscusion before you trade you use facebook chat because

1. Chat logs will be proof as you can forward them and they are uneditable
2. Messages are ALWAYS recorded

you can just make a new account so it doesnt have to be your real facebook account e.g. name as Stui Sythe and so on and have the facebook account part of this

and make facebook profile as part of that

 

Could be edited to easily. I could make another account that has the same name and picture as some one I traded with and then just have a fake conversation with them scamming me so I could get free stuff. Now way this will get passed sorry.

 

Do you mean we need to create a Facebook Profile for it ?

One thing I did think of is making a chat system via sythe, you could work it just like facebook you have to be a buddy with someone to see them online/offline on your little buddy list and you can iniatiate and have successful trades through sythe, and make the chat logues accessable by sythe staff members so there is no screenshot proof and editing its straight up you scammed him or you did not.

Just my thoughts I am sure someone will find a flaw ^_^

Just thought of another thing, you could then also bring more people in to staff and make live chat a 24 hour thing, remove the whole "report a scammer" and dispute forums and what not and just plain out have people go on live chat and the staff member can have the chat logues at his/her disposal immediatley and take the appropriate actions towards the situation, this would give people a chance to be a part of the staff and a valued member of the community and I think it would for the most part iliminate or at least slow down the amount of scamming that goes on here.

Again just my thoughts, I am sure it would also take some money to have people on Live support 24 hours but considering how vast the community is you can just have people with different time zones online.

 

No , first there can be edited source code of facebook page...
Second as someone above me said ,you can create same fake profile.

The solution would be original sythe chat ,but its long way and there will be little chance to catch evaders.

This would create too many problems. But if you want to trade via FB, go for it; take the risk though.

If you get scammed, take screen shots and report. Easy as 1,2,3.
