unfairly banned in 2008

Hi, I am theprof22 and i was a longtime member of this forum 3 years ago. I have never been rude or had any complaints about me and it seemed that i was pretty liked. I was mainly active around the graphics section. I got banned for apparently having another account linked to the same ip which was very shocking to me. When I got banned I never even knew why and did not get a chance to present a possible explanation. I live on a university campus which uses the same wifi campus wide. There is a possibility that someone from around the university could have been a member here which obviously was from the same ip. I was never involved in the runescape market so i don't see why i need multiple account for anything? Please try to understand my situation because I would never do anything to break the rules. I've been absent from runescape for a longtime and just returned and it would be greatly appreciated if i could be part of this community once again. Thank-you.

Your accounts do not appear to have been linked by IP's. Since the ban is ancient and I can't find anything about it in the RaS archive or Staff Lounge, there's probably no way to dig up the evidence that led to your ban, and therefore nothing we can do to lift it. This is why we encourage all bans to be disputed within 1 month of issue.
