    Should I or should I not ?

I'm new to World of Warcraft and I'm thinking if I should play. I have DotA 2 & Battlefield 3 to play but I'm thinking if I should play. Any recommendations ?

Give the trial a try, if you still like it once you hit 20, you can always upgrade to the full game and expansions as you go.

Give it a shot man, it's free (albeit very limited) up to level 20. See if you like the gameplay style, it's very different from RS.

Lemme say, the beginning is very boring.
However, I do have a Acc (level 75) with Wrath of the lich king expansion and gametime left.. It's for sale.

It's a hell of a lot less boring than runescape. There are lots of different zones, linear quest lines and in general it can be a pretty captivating experience whilst leveling. Not just stand, click cow, walk one square, click other cow, repeat.

I played a WoW Private Server before. I admit it isn't that boring. But I'm thinking about the subscription that you have to pay every month.

offtopic: spraywipe. get on msn asap. need some gfx.

It bugs me when people compare WoW to RS because they are 2 completely different games.

Give it a shot. I hated it when I first played it but you will learn eventually. Once you know what you're doing, it's SOOOO addicting.

Give it a try, but please don't do any of these things:

    - Don't buy an account with high level characters if you have never played the game or that class before. It will simply be frustrating for you, and it is best to make it yourself.

    - Don't play the game to like level 15 and then say 'this is boring :/'. To really judge WoW, you need to hit the level cap [85 currently] and try end-game activities. Also, before the level cap, PvP in WoW is rather unbalanced, so do not use that as your judgement of the PvP system in WoW.

I would play if you have more then 3 friends that will start with you. Thats in my option though. Its up to you what you choose to do.

    I personally don't like it.

The game revolves around max level content (level 85). Getting to level 20 just reveals the underlying mechanics for people to get used to, and doesn't even touch on the PVE/PVP aspects you get endgame. Personally I played blizzlike private servers for a year or two, leveled and raided/pvp'd at 80, then decided I would put in the effort for the actual game. Haven't looked back since.

Kind of off topic but I'm thinking of starting a new account as well and was wondering what's the best class for pve at the moment? I remember the last time I played it was priest for healing and hunter for dps, though I looooved playing my pally in raids.. what do you guys think is the funnest class to play? Easiest? I'm not very good at complicated classes

The thing with the trial now is it lasts forever, you can level one of every class to 20 and if you don't like it after that then leave it.

I disagree. The best way to play WoW is with friends you met IN the game. The only reason you should let your friends know you're playing is to get advice when starting out (professions/spec/questing/addons and so forth). After that, you'll often find you enjoy doing something different from your friends. For instance, I'm a hardcore progression raider who does light PvP (no arenas), and Achievement hunting in my down time. My brother on the other hand enjoys PvP to the extreme and could probably beat me on any fresh 85 (quest reward gear and all) while i was on my warrior or priest. Finally, a friend I grew up with is an altaholic and LITERALLY has over 20 (probably closer to 25 now) lvl 85's all with maxed out professions, which vary per toon.

To answer your question, you should DEFINITELY play WoW and wait 'til you hit level cap to see if you enjoy it. Just remember the game really starts at (currently) 85, and there's lots more to do when you get there, so do some research so you know your toon. You, and the people you play with, will enjoy the game more if you're not facerolling the keyboard for max effect.
