I personally would fuck up RuneScape till I got discovered.

Make everyone in the wildy die, remove the first 100 items from people's banks, run around and recreate the Fally Massacre, etc.

 

Have mad fun with the rotten potato and then give it to my main account and sell it on sythe or something.

I wouldn't sell anything to anyone on Sythe because they would most likely get banned on the account(s) they have those items on - Which I wouldn't want to do to anyone.

I'd also most likely be banned from Sythe.

 

If it were 'having access to a J-Mod account and insider information that J-Mods would know about updates', then I would actually have a useful answer.

I'd buy 1B on an alt account before any updates, put the entire 1B into an item that I know is going to be positively affected by an update, and sell all of the item the day the update comes out for 200-300% of the original purchase price.

Doing that during multiple updates=RS bought me a house in a short period of time.

I don't think Jmods can do that.
And if they could, they are not able to trade it to other players.

 

JMods can't have the interaction with a player that you would need to transfer GP...So insider knowledge would be the way to go, even if they can spawn items.

I would spawn rares probably-- keep a steady income, while trying not to crash the value at the same time.

 

It'd be stupid if that is possible.
If a Jmod would be fired, just drop a dozen phat sets and sell them wherever.
When they find out you will have the cash in hand whilst sipping a glas of scotch on the beach.

 

Jmod accounts can only be accessed from Jagex hq ^

 

Fix´d

 

First things first, change the RS HQ IP to somewhere convenient.

Perm ban all the other Jmods, make it so they can never come back. Then make 20 new Jmod accounts, set them with 200m xp in all skills, spawn a max stack of every rare, sell it all off as the prices are crashing, and run to Nigeria before the police get to me.

Then steal the RS source code, hire a new team of devs, and restart the game under a different name (Scaperune? IDT they have it trademarked) because of DMCA. Migrate all of RS from before the changes and profit from the new Mems
After that ban everybody and delete the backup worlds so that it cannot be rolled back and steal my customers. Stay legit the entire time (no more abuses) to minimize losses.
