Got Phished. LMFAO

I was browsing through runescape
and Sythe
and I accidentally clicked a link.
because I was browing runescape atm, that link caught me off guard and I logged into it

lost my tassets and I feel like a fucking idiot

This happen to anybody else?

 

Happend to me ,, 3 years ago ;/ Feel srr for you think next time before you click on any links.

 

in the years I have been playing, I have never once gotten phished, keylogged, etc...

I've got RATED by a java driveby around the start of this year which they took 100m = 0.80c/m back then

They used my webcam to spy on me , turned on my microphone , typed and moved my mouse , couldn't turn off my computer even if i wanted to ( had to hold the shut down button - which i had a lot of unsaved documents )
When I thought i took it off and things went smoothly. Logged on runescape , removed 100m cash pile of my bank and BAM. Computer shuts down instantly , log on my other computer and when i log onto runescape. I see the 100m gone and my character at lummy church. Check the bank but they didn't get through it ( Only had 40m left ) which i staked it all since i got pissed.

I was stupid back then and didn't know much lol , funny how i learned alot from my mistakes. But it's a dangerous world out there

 

I was like a click away from getting phished this year. After joining up with Sythe again (forgot un/pw from 6 years back literally) i was doing stuff on here and started getting good looking phishing emails. pretty good timing by the phishers as i actually requested somethin from jagex and got an email from the phisher within 5 mins. Then i had an epithany and boom crossed off lol. sweats*

 

a guy linked me to his clans 'quickfind clan page'. it was a very good replica of runescape ,with the url being: runescape.services.mg or sumthing like that.
when i tried to post on the page, it said i had to log in. after that, i tried to reaccess my acc, but the pass was changed. but when i tried to recover it, i got it back in 10 seconds flat. lol

The easiest way to check if its legit is to find out if its https - secured.

 

Luckily for you it was only a tass, i have a mate that got phised for ely and vesta set, exact replica of RS page, poor guy.

Tassy isnt a big deal, head up

 

I had similar situation few months ago and lost like 300m

 

Enjoy it, never really played RS anyways.
I pity you.
