Anyone else thinks that Runescape is copying WoW?
-The homepage,Tabs with Inventory etc, the grafical design of the windows.

Yeah quite near to WoW. But Runescape was out first.

Very, very old news, they tried to at least, and instead Fagex created a complete diversion from the good ol' RS we use to love & cherish, into a shitty knock-off WoW, R.I.P.

 

for all you know, the next update will allow you to move with the keypad.

Personally, I think the new homepage makes it look like every other MMORPG out there. I seriously hate the paint/attempt at life-like graphics. It's one of the things I hated about the WoW website, and now RS is looking exactly like it. I liked the previous site a lot better, but even on that they started doing the graphics for the background, which I thought made it look like crap.

 

There slowly slowly turning into WoW but still trying to keep the main RS parts eg; pking to keep old members....

 

Jagex also copied something from Tibia (lol)

I mean that right clicking report to make reporting peoples easier.
Tibia had it 1st

 

I really dislike the new homepage, it reminds me of wow and they're pretty much falsely advertising the game with all them WoW lookalikes on the homepage then you get on the game and it's runescape.

 

By the way classic had this feature, not sure when tibia came out though.

I've never played WOW, nor have I really seen it before. But I have heard tons of people saying that RS is becoming more and more like it, in both gameplay and in the interface design.

 

The gameplay is nothing like it...the only thin I could say kind of similiar to it is maybe the graphics.

 

meh. I would love if this game was like wow. I really hope they change how to run to WASD

I have never played WoW so I can't really give any examples but I've looked through some gameplays and their homepage and all I can say is that there is a slight twitch where runescape is copying WoW

But it would be pretty cool in my opinion if they make it similar to WoW. It's better then fucking clicking and grinding tbh lolz and maybe people would change their mind about runescape for being suck a shitty game
