Old Rs Back Campaign

Now here's my idea, sort of like occupy wall street however we all go to one place say the Grand Exchange and demand the old RS. They provide a version of RSClassic so surely they could provide a version of the good old days even if it is just P2P only, hell I'd pay for sure. So if you are interested post and I will add you to the list, if enough people post then I'll get more serious on promoting and making this happen.

I'm pretty sure many players have rioted in RS for the old RS to be brought back, there were many in 2007. Jagex won't do it, you're all just wasting your time.

More time has passed now and the game has changed so much that it's almost like a classic. JaGeX honestly seem to be listening to players more so now then before + they are making more stuff P2P to make money so if they could see an opening to make this P2P and make more money then that's another positive.

 

Actually, they care more about money than players. They won't do anything apart from create more money making content. Look at the recent high-scores change, if you want your name in there then you'll have to pay for members.

Protests haven't worked with Jagex in the past, whatever is your reasoning to expect they'll work now?

 

It is obvious now that JaGeX is trying to improve the game and keep the players happy. Before their approach was to make as much money via P2P possible and hence why they tolerated bots to a certain degree. It seems now they've changed their mind and are listening to the player in order to make RuneScape as communitty focused as possible, their new way of getting as many P2P is by implementing ideas by the player and making more features P2P only. Their numbers of paying members has obviously dropped since bot-nuke we all know that and they're trying to get more paying members with every update, so if we proposed this old RS back as another version as they have done with classic and make it P2P only they may consider it.

The only way this will work is if you can bankrupt jagex from all there players and convince all Runescape players to quit Runescape if you can do that. Then it will work.

 

GUYS, read the original post. Basically this idea is that the new RS would still exist however RS 2005ish would be brought back as they have done with classic however it wouldn't be the main game.

 

Jagex lost a lot of their population when they released bot-nuke day.

 

What doesn't live, isn't a population.

 

Ive play since 2005 and i like how rs is now. This is a waste of time just to think they would make a 07s rs version.

 

Jagex will not go back to the old RS regardless of who likes it and who doesn't. Standing in the G.E. spamming the chat is just wasting your time and the time of everyone else. They haven't listended to riots in the past and they are not going to listen now.

 

I really wanna know what your definition of 'old RS' is LOL....To me, old RS is available to people that are P2P and that have accessed it: RSC.

 

although i miss the old runescape, the new runescape has allowed me to lose interest and helped me break the addiction.

 

I don't understand why people want the old rs back. the new rs is better. if you want the old rs, play rsclassic IMO

Classic isn't 05 more like 02. The new rs is horrible and most would agree on that.
