Alright, well I've been unable to get on my computer for a while and post a thread about how excited I've been, but now I can!
So, last weekend I went to Fun Fun Fun Fest and I got to see Odd mother fucking Future. It was the craziest show I've ever been to.. Someone threw a water bottle at Tyler and he jumped into the crowd and beat the shit out of them, then someone threw a dildo on stage, and the crowd basically parted right in the middle and Hodgy threw the dildo back into the crowd and hit my friend Jake right in the chest.. Then Hodgy got on the mic and was like.. "Damn.. Ay yo, whoever that hit, you got herpies for life nigga!" Ahh.. It was amazing. I only went on Sunday, because OF was really the only thing I was going for, but I also got to see Del the Funky Homosapien, Childish Gambino (who was a lot better live than I was expecting), Public Enemy (awesome), and Wugazi who I had never heard of, but he kicked ass, and I'm going to start listening to him, ha. Yeah, my weekend was amazing. Oh, and I shroomed for the first time on Saturday that weekend too. It was just great. Also had some hash brownies, and smoked a shit ton of weed.. Now that I think about it, I never came down that weekend. Friday when I got home, I went to a friends house, we got baked, drank a lot of alcohol, smoked before bed, had a wake and bake the next morning, got shrooms, ate those, tripped balls for a few hours, and smoked some more, and then some more, then Sunday morning had a wake 'n bake sesh and then went to FFFF and got some hash brownies, and I was constantly smoking blunts while at FFFF..

Last weekend was amazing, I went to Fun Fun Fun Fest and got really high/drunk/shroomed out that weekend.

Tyler was barely around when ODB was, and maybe some of his music inspired through him, are there any artists that are 100% completely original? Aside from those who started the rap game, everyone samples.. It's just part of it. How can you even say that Tyler is a 'pussy version of ODB'. They're two very different people. And how does fuck 2dopeboyz have anything to do with that? Do you know the story behind 2db? And yeah, they do put out some crazy ass stuff, because they're not in it for the fame or fortune. Del the Funky Homosapien is definetly a underatted underground hip hop artist, sounded like a sick show overall.

They aren't that original, and OF's criteria for musical legitimacy is mostly based on said fallacious originality. The types of kids who are obsessed with OF also brag about smoking pot at concerts. Once again, I remember when I had my first beer. I know about the 2dopeboyz story, if I had a music blog I wouldn't reblog OF either ("Rape a pregnant bitch and tell my friends I had a threesome". Great PR campaign.)

ODB died in 2004, so they aren't contemporaries int he slightest. Tyler bites ODB's style a lot, except he's a bitch. He doesn't drink, doesn't smoke, grew up privileged/wealthy, yet tries to act hard.

On one hand you claim that they aren't a serious group, on the other you go to concerts, have them as your avatar, and obsess over OF culture. Saying "they don't give a fuck" is simply an excuse for them making subpar music.

OF isn't hardcore, they try to be hardcore. They are the epitome of fakeness (at least in the rap world).

You're saying that in order to be 'hard' you have to drink, smoke, and do drugs, or grow up being poor? How does that many any sense at all? And just because they aren't a serious group, means that I can't be a fan?
