How do you mail irl items?

Ok, I'm English, say I went to send off an item to another player (if I trade non-virtual items), like do I get a certain envelope? Do I have to pay to send it off? where do I give it to to mail (if its got item inside) etc etc, I've recently turned 16 so am not very good at this Dx

They're there to help you . Don't ever feel like a twat when asking how to do something , you aren't born knowing everything .

 

You can mail it in an envelope if it will fit or a box. If it's fragile, you can buy a padded envelope. Write the buyer's name and address in the center and yours in the upper left hand corner. Take it to your local post office to ship it. They will charge a shipping fee depending on the weight and type of shipping you choose.

get a box and stuff it with filler so whatever you have doesn't move around..

They give away free boxes at the post office. If you do that, you have to mail it with them. Otherwise you can use UPS or FedEX. Just take it into any store and they can tell you what to do with it.

 

I suggest buying a padded envelope, there are large ones (if it fits). Don't buy them in the Post Office tho, they cost 3 times more than they should there. Just go to some office supplies store.

 

Go to a post office, ask for a parcel (depending on size), write address on, stamp it, done.
