what the dick happened to the front page

 

Strangely reminds me of the World of Warcraft front page. It looked better than the previous one.

 

Actually I kinda like it!

 

i wish it went back to the shape/colour changing fire .. the mainpage looks cluttered i think

 

That new in-game font is so ugly..

but in general the main website is nicer

 

I don't really like it....Also, the ingame stuff looks really bad IMO

 

They have changed little things in-game which didn't need changing and now they look worse. In my opinion.

 

Massive graphical update.

IMO they are trying to make RS into the next WOW.

RS is the most MMORPG in the world and it has to compete. I wouldnt be surprised if the game has another major update and you have to download a client to play instead of being web-based.

I dont like the icons though. People play the game for the game, not the graphics... back in the days we played for the small pixels of ice barrage not the scenery. you cant make the skills look any better or the animations due to the style of game-play unless they make the game liike WOW its gonna be a downfall.

 

I think the web-site looks great, and unlike what you downers are always saying when updates like this happen, I think Rs has a bright future.

 

Cause we want RuneScape to turn into WOW right?

 

Gonna take a while too get used to the super-ugly front page and im game, fixed screen and low detail = winning

The whole front page is a big advertisement for Runescape membership LOL

 

99% of botters were doing things which you could only do as a member. Bots stopped, revenue stopped.

Thats why the implemented so much new things to generate their original revenue from membership...


But, on a side note, due to the different interface of the game, it may force certain bots to become incompatible, cause like hovering your mouse over things shows what they are and might fuck them up.. so yeah.

 

Runescape is old news, they're just trying to drain every last cent out they can before Stellar Dawn is released and no one plays RS anymore. The game sucks now anyways, because it is slowly becoming a WoW clone.

 

I wish it remained simple and uncluttered as it was a decade ago...

 

Have you seen the highscores? Its ugly imo and i cant see anything.
