DHL Shipping Speed?

If anyone has any experience or has information about DHL service ans shipping speed it is highly appreciated. Well I'm having something shipped to me from China to California, United States and they are sending it with DHL Worldwide Express. Now I did some surfing around the web and there were a LOT of negative comments about how the shipping gets slowed by customs and how DHL loses your package a bit more than usual.

Anyone know how many days/weeks it will take for the shipment to come?

 

Usually it takes a little longer like 1 or 2 days than other postal services for me personally.

But it's usually a bit cheaper aswell.

If you use signed shipping / with insurance, they will take good care of your package lol. Or they'll have to refund it.

 

In my country its the next day or 2 days at most.
