Signature

I was infracted for signature violation.The reason is the image is too large.

I don't know how much size can I use it in my signatue. I thought if wont' against the sig rules if i can upload it.Tbh, i know nothing about graphics,so I dont' know how to check pixels. If it can be default then it would be good. I won't lose one point for this voilation

So my suggestion would be make the signature size default.

How large can a normal member use, how large can a 5$/25$/50$ donator use etc etc. And I do think there are many other ppl have voilated this rule but haven't realize yet. If this can be implemented. It will definantly do good to the sythe org community.

Signature dimensions don't change at all, so a $1000 donator is no better off than someone who hasn't donated at all.

You may want to re-word your original post because I'm not entirely sure what your suggestion is.

 

The version of vBulletin we have doesn't automatically restrict signature sizes.

 

To check the dimension, take a picture of the screen. Then using any picture editing software, check dimension.

However, I do support a sort of "warning" before an infraction is given regarding signatures. Many Sythe users have never looked at the rules, and might accidentally set their signature font size to 7 or so and not realize it until they are infracted.

 

I would recommend using Paint.ms as it comes standard with any Windows OS.

After you've opened it up using Paint, go to Image then Attributes.

This will show your image dimensions.

I'd also highly recommend for you to read the rules.

And I don't see much of a suggestion in this thread, no I guess I'll just say no support.

 

i support this idea like give people a warning and if they still dont change infract them

 

I'm guessing the only reason that Sythe is still on 3.6.4 is because of security? He should seriously look into upgrading it and then this problem would be gone. I think a warning is fair before an infraction though.

 

ALL new people (and old who are not 100% certain of the rules before posting) should look at and abide by the rules. There is no excuse for not reading them, hence why infractions are the primary punishment.
