Explanation of the trade:
'Ace' has been working in my server since the end of December.

In July Ace asked if I'd want to collaborate with him and help him on his server, to which I refused. I informed him of the sythe rules to not own multiple services with advertising and said it isn't viable.

On 31st July he was assigned an order with a customer, the customer has a small community discord and asked if I wanted a space in there, I thanked him and said yes. - In reported post as contains private info.

On the 1st August, the workers own private service discord was now showing in the customers community discord (mine removed-- No agreement or payment was made so no issues with this). - In report as contains private info.

I noticed the advert and clicked onto the server, and looked through it. -

On the server there's quite a bit copied directly and just changed onto the server (mostly around pricing/deals). I confronted the worker about it. He admitted in the chat that he had copied it from the server.



Servers get ideas from other servers all the time, but when it's just been copy and pasted into this own server, and the fact he was in contact with customers directly who he was assigned to work for.

I've spoken to the customer who confirmed the worker offered to do him free services privately for the sponsorship and that it was the worker who contacted him directly. Despite the worker saying he wasn't trying to steal customers.

Worker has been banned from my server in the meantime.

I wasn't going to report this originally as he had taken down the direct copy and paste, but the fact he lied to me about everything... Told me he paid for the sponsor, but actually he was just doing free work for him to take it away from the server....

Worker has a $148 deposit that's being withheld, whilst I check all of the accounts that he's worked on for me are secure. Then this will be returned, likely Wednesday as I'm away.

 

Just a note to apologise to the sythe mods for having to deal with this report, as it's hella petty.

Just the fact he continued to lie when confronted.

 

No Theft or Financial Loss: As Griff stated, the amount scammed is 0. I have never scammed anyone, stolen funds, or compromised any customer accounts. My track record in his server and on Sythe has been completely clean.
The Client Misunderstanding: I never offered free servicing to steal clients or take work away from Griff. The customer (MrBottingNerd) explicitly stated in Discord chats that I never asked him to remove Griff from his server. My only request to him was regarding promoting my new Discord server. If there was any miscommunication about "servicing," it was purely about server promotion, not taking off-platform orders or poaching accounts.
Copied Content Resolution: As soon as Griff pointed out that some of my server text/pricing structure was too similar to his, I immediately apologized and deleted/removed all copied content from my server.
Security & Deposit: I have fully cooperated throughout this process. I look forward to the release of my $148 deposit once Griff finishes verifying that all accounts I worked on are completely secure, as I have always handled every account with 100% integrity.
I respect Griff and his business, and I sincerely apologize for any confusion caused by my new server's setup. However, I want to assure staff that there was zero intent to steal clients or cause financial damage to anyone.

 

I want to state clearly to the staff that I have never scammed anyone, nor did I have any intention to do so.
Here is what actually happened regarding the client:
I created a new Discord server offering skilling and other services.
When I talked to the client, I simply asked him if he does server sponsorships, as I was looking for a platform/space to put my server link for promotion.
I explicitly mentioned to him that I had launched a new service server and was searching for sponsorship opportunities. He responded that we could work something out.
Due to shift/timezone differences and a minor misunderstanding in communication, the situation got misinterpreted as "stealing clients," which was never the case.
I never stole any client, never took any off-platform payments, and never asked anyone to drop Griff's services. Everything was strictly about finding a sponsorship for my server link.
I have already removed all similar layouts/texts from my server, there is zero financial loss to anyone, and I am fully cooperating to get this resolved smoothly.

As established, there was no plagiarism, no scamming, and no policy violated. I kindly request the staff to now assist in having my $148 deposit released back to me so this report can be closed peacefully. Thank you for your time

To clarify, I never intended to copy anyone—I only used market standard ideas for order discounts (e.g., tier-based discounts for 1st, 2nd-5th, and 5th-10th orders) and applied standard rates for popular skills like Fishing and RC, which are the same rates used across my own server.
When Griff accused me, I simply apologized to keep the peace and deleted the posts to avoid conflict, not because I was guilty of stealing his content. As you correctly noted, the layouts and pricing structures are different and not copied.

 

I only apologized because he was constantly pressing me, and I was deeply worried about losing my $148 deposit—money I worked extremely hard to collect. I admitted fault purely out of fear and to keep the peace, not because I actually copied his work.
As you can see from my profile, I have been working in his server since December with a completely clean track record. There is a huge difference between his layout/offers and mine.
