Smoking vs. Vapourizer (Cannabis)

I need people's oppinions.

I know people can just post links and stuff to certain facts and arguments, but if possible I would like anyones verdict who has tried both?

I smoke weed on a regular basis and I am thinking about getting a vapourizer for Christmas to treat myself.

But what are the pros and cons?
What's the difference from inhaling through a vapourizer opposed to smoking?

I'm pretty sure the high is better with a vaporizer

 

The high is different and seems to last longer from a vap, would i say its better? no....

I tried my friends vap a lot of times...It is pretty good, but for the best high, we always did about a G in the vap....Then after we would do some blades (hot knifes)...the two different types of highs = Awesome and we would trip for a while...

 

I wouldn't get a vaporizer because I like the feeling of actually smoking weed. It does get you a bit higher and it will last a bit longer, but every time I've ever vaped I didn't even get the full taste of the weed, which is what I like. They can also be tricky to use, but my friends works nice around 350.

I don't really know how to explain it.

 

Really, I don't want to spend so much on a vap, then realise its better getting stoned just by having your every day spliff.

A vap was my alternative to letting myself get stoned inside assuming there is no fumes what so ever?

So you guys are saying my THC intake is better from a vap anyway?

Edit: I can't smoke inside when the misses is about.

 

i have a 200 dollar vape and i still use my 30 dollar pipe if that helps

 

No it still stinks like hell. and I'd almost always take a splif, or anything else really, over a vap

 

Just going to stick to my rockets, buckets and cones.

 

I can't recommend more highly the Magic Flight Launch Box (google it).

It's a portable vaporizer (the size of a matchbox), it's relatively cheap, and very reliable. You can use it absolutely everywhere, even in movie theaters

 

Vaps are always good 'cause I've heard that you don't get all that tar and shit in your lungs unlike actually smoking it. I don't have a clue about the legitimacy but the few times i've used a vap i got a pretty solid high. It honestly depends a ton on the vap you get.

Really what you should do is go to your local marijuana apparel selling store and ask about them. You'll get real good knowledge that way

 

The high is slightly different when you smoke from a vaporizer. I don't smoke weed, and its been years since I remember being high on the stuff, so I will let other people elaborate on this point.

I can tell you myself though, that smoking out of a vaporizer is slightly healthier for your lungs & body, as you are not breathing in as much gunk as you normally would be. There is also the benefit of being able to smoke inside your house because you are not blowing out big clouds of smelly smoke the way you would be if you were smoking a joint or ripping bong tokes. There is obviously a slight trace of the tokes, but it is nothing like the aforementioned methods of smoking.

A few of my friends in highschool bought vaporizers or volcanoes to smoke their bud and they were all very happy with their choices and/or investments.

 

If money isn't an issue, I would definatly reccomend getting a vaporizer.
I recently got the Silver Surfer vap for myself, and its the best thing I've ever gotten.
The main difference between say hitting a pipe or vaporizer is the THC percent your getting.
I'm not exactly sure but i think its..
Blunt/joint you get 20% of your thc
Pipe you get 50% of your thc
Bong you get 75% thc
Vaporizer you get 98% thc

Vape will give you less smoke probably, but it will also be less harsh.
If your smoking to medicate, then yes, get a vaporizer. It's the most healthy way to smoke

A bong beats all, I would say from personal experience...

 

I will always prefer a traditional water bong over any of the brand name vaporizers.
