    English HELP - HUMOUR

    Alrite in my english class , im studying about humour and we have to identy three types of humour present in the text.

    Like satire , irony sarcasm etc

    Now theres one question in my marking booklet questions it says

    3.) Analyse the effect of each type of humour on the ( Audience )

    What does this mean lol?

    OT: I've copied a paste some of my things in my speech and I would like someone to rearrange things in my speech and add things etc for 5m

    I assume that it means that, if you were the audience and a text you were reading had the aforementioned kind of humor in it, how would YOU react to it?

    English HELP - HUMOUR

    What effect does each type of humour have on the audience. In other words, what does it make them feel, does it make them question something in particular (satire)? Does it make them think deeply about something before realising the actual joke (sarcasm) etc etc.
