    Help With Steam-Related

Okay, a week ago, my friend bought 2 CS:S games and had an extra and gifted it to me. So, I accepted it. And a week later, he got hacked and he is going to revoke the payment for the CS:S. Now, here's my question:

Does the person who received the gift's account get disabled or does the game get revoked? That is my main question ATM. I need an answer ASAP. Ty >_<

The game should get revoked, but check on the Steam forums and ask!

The person who paid for the game will get their account gets disabled, you should probably contact Steam support ASAP as some people have been known to lose their Steam account forever if they don't act quick enough.

If he revokes the payment for anything, his account gets locked. If he also revokes the payment for your gift copy (or if for both games as one payment), the game gets removed from your steam account. Your account won't get disabled, but his will.

Before making hasty decisions like charging Steam back (which is against their TOS and practically stealing their money) your friend should try to recover his account. If he for some reason can't use the normal email recovery, he should open a steam support ticket. They'll ask for proofs of purchase of games, and will help. Seeing as steam games aren't tradable between accounts, the worst thing that can happen to your friend's account is getting VAC banned. While getting VAC banned sucks, getting the whole account disabled sucks more.
