It's in the water?

Have you guys ever noticed that the people who play RS2 that are located in the Mid-West (especially those from Indiana/Ohio), completely ROCK at RS2?

Seriously, my in-game clan, ROCKS, and it just so happens that everyone is from the Mid-west? I'm not sure how it happened, I just found all the ROCKIN players, and they all turned out to be from the Mid-West?

I found this correlation, to be rather funny... but then again, looking at other posts and forums, maybe this correlation is equal to the causation of ROCKIN PLAYERS in RS2.

Generally, in psychology, correlation does not ever equal causation, but with the amount of correlation I've found, there's got to be some type of causation?

Hypothesis:

If your from the Mid-West, you are naturally a ROCKIN' RUNESCAPER.

Check it out for self, roam the forums across the world, and I bet you'll find that the Mid-West players are THE BEST OVERALL ROCKIN' RUNESCAPERS!!!

Although, feed back would nice here, so that we could validate the above hypothesis...

What qualifies someone as a "good" Runescape player? To succeed in this game you need time more than anything. Sure, there's a small amount of skill involved, but if you don't have thousands of hours to play, you won't get anywhere.

 

I can't actually answer that, but its just something that i've noticed over the past year or so. but its been a, rather noticeable, correlation... idk check it out for self.

well, if you kick ass at pking, or slay nex with a few handful of players, or are maxxed, or if you've got 8888888888888888888M gp, just stuff that stands out, is what makes you a ROCKIN RUNESCAPER

 

So presumably, mid-west players must work or study the least in life in order to devote an unusual amount of time repeatedly clicking to earn pixels.

Either way, I'm from the Mid-West (Wisconsin) and I don't put a huge amount of time towards RS.

I have a maxed barrows pure and 4 non-combat 99s and I botted the account.

Never leveled a skill above 50 legitimately.

So, that disproves part of your hypothesis.

 

sources? I've never really met anyone from my area that plays RS outside of like 5 people.. I live in Chicago.

 

Pretty sure that the BEST players are all in East Coat (Zezima, Momeydragon) or in random European countries I don't know the name of (SUOMI)

Probably because there isn't shit to do in the mid-west so everyone plays rs.

Also, how do you define "Good" at rs.
Clicking a mouse takes no skill.

 

it's been my experience people without a social life excel at runescape.

Skill has nothing to do with the game but rather a lack of common sense, and alot of free time.
