I've been trying to donate to Sythe for along time....

Well , it's been a week for me to try contact Nick to Donate RSGP. I live from Australia so it's hard for me to get in contact with him. It's been well over a week to try contact him through sythe/msn .

There should be more Trusted Mods like (n4no , Firez , Cosbro , hannahered etc. To be able to collect the donations because it's so hard to get into contact with Nick.

It's not that your already active Nick but , searching through the Gold Donation thread. You will see a lot of people trying to Donate gold but can't due to to the inactivity.

More Trusted Mods holding the donations and handing them over to Nick = More Donations through Sythe

FireZ is doing RSGP donations. Check the sticky below the one you're currently looking at.

 

I believe its not mods chosen based on trust they give a security to mathew on behalf of themselves which allow them to collect donations, such as FireZ suppose he give Mathew a $1000 bond, Firez can then collect $1000 worth of rsgp as donations and any profit he makes selling the rsgp he gets to keep.

 

I processed $150 in donations yesterday. I'm on most of the day, and around noon your time typically. Are you at school or something?

 

Might be cause Nick's time zone is different to ours in Australia.
Australian day time = Night time for USA, Canada, UK, Europe etc.

Unless Nick is also Australian then void this message

 

You could just sell the rsgp, then donate through Paypal :huh:

 

It's an interesting idea to have multiple people collect gp and then give it to Nick or whoever else is running a gp donation. It has it's positives and negatives, but I believe the negatives out way it for this reason: It would way too easy for a trusted member/moderator to become corrupt and just take the money. With Nick himself doing it there's lesser chance of scam occurring than 4 or 5 different people.

 

You can't donate through paypal if you haven't donated through rsgp or mail.

 

PM him, post on his thread, add his MSN, I got lucky and got in contact with him within 15 minutes of wanting to donate haha, so yeh, just do that and play the waiting game, goodluck.

He was apologizing for misleading the OP to a discontinued thread - it wasn't spamming. YOU, on the other hand, contributed nothing to this thread. Therefore it isn't Mill3n who's the spammer, it's you.

OT - If it's at all possible to try to find moderators in different timezones that are willing and trusted enough to collect RSGP to hand over to Nick, I think it'd make things a lot easier for everyone.

 

Just to clear this up, there's a deleted post right above his which is spam.

He wasn't talking to Mill3n, he was talking to the spammer in the deleted post above him.

 

I offered Nick to help him out because I thought this was a problem too, but he said he had it covered and would contact me in future if he needed my assistance.

I'm not sure if this really applies to this thread but I would like to throw it out there.. (don't take this the wrong way, I like The_Black_tux as a person, I'd just like to say a few things)

I noticed T.B.T. was handling some RSGP donations now. Personally I don't think that any non-global (with the exception of a few sectionals) should be allowed to handle donations. Especially when there has been numerous reports on that person in Rasc as a result of messing up Middle Manning and other trades.

 

The Black Tux now offer this service too. You should take a look at it.

Yeah, I wish that there were more active mods for donations. I've try to donate with RSGP multiple times but had no luck doing so.
