Why do you play RSC?

i only play because of the old memories i had in tht game

 

I'm finishing up the little things left that I've wanted to do there and for the memories now, still have a couple other friends who play.

 

It's fun and oldschool, good memories I have from rsc

 

i think everyone plays it because of the memories.. because clearly its not better then rs2

 

i just play because it reminds me of the golden old days

 

Just Like all around better. I would love to see it open to like all members.

 

Theres just something about classic that makes it special makes you wanna go back to those times so i play sometimes

 

I've always played it. Obv not as much as rs2 but I still have a big bank on rsc because I only transferred half to rs2 lol

 

Wow, All I want to say is stfu right now, this is where runescape origonated the staking and pvp aspect of the game was amazing, better then anything they have came out with thus far, it was the origonal game, I have played since 2002.

I dont like it, but I do play sometimes because its funny.

Yeah, I began classic in late 01. After hats were dropped. I remember mining like 10K iron ore over the weekend on my windows 2000 computer with AOL to buy a red partyhat, only ending up to exchange it for a Rune large to some guy walking between varrack dummy room and the smithing room near the chappel. Me and my buddy logan scaped on weekends we were 11/12 yrs old just having fun cause the game was such fun...2001 there was no xbox 360, ps3, WoW, ect. RSC was coded in Java and remember java was still fairly new at that time. I didn't get to experience the black hole but I do own a DoR. Training at Black knights castle, completing heroes, losing full rune to a druid pker, castle pking, Heroes guild raning, waiting 2 hours for a red partyhat to spawn in the clothes shoppe near East V bank, Completing underground pass, trying to pickup 100K maple logs for another phat (Way later)- I'd go on but nah.

 

i met some 50 year old dude at the library. he said, "yeah, i was just talking bout that game, i played it, i had full dragon and that dragon samurai" rofl..

 

I only play to trade. But there's like this one guy that plays all the time I talk to. Supposedly he's never played rs2? but that seems unlikely since rsc is practically empty. Idk who he'd play with.

 

Because it's sooo oldschool and soo much fun.

 

There is a small communitee. Unlike RS2 We pixel huggers of classic play and help eachother out... And I personally bot my skills up with 0 chance of getting banned. It's like a free chill version of RS
