Wth is this?

I opened up my world map and closed it and it started to flash.
Anybody know what it is for?

 

Were you in the middle of a quest? Did you have an objective set?

The arrow could be due to either of those.

 

You can set a marker on the world map. Its if you click on the map, it's really annoying

Yup markers own! But it stinks when you are at the spot you need to re open the world map...that is so annoying..

So yea that is a marker obtained from double clicking on world map

 

Yup, double-clicking the map sets a marker to where you clicked. To remove it close the map and then right-click the world map icon and click remove marker.

 

If you double click on the map it does that for you. Its a very handy tool for a beginner to get somewhere.

But to remove click on the click and its at the top.
