I logged on EoC after 2 years of not playing and found all my money was gone -- not in bank, not in coin pouch or anything.

So I buy 15m off of Sythe, and later get an email saying I had a warning for RWT. log on to the offense thing, and it had been reversed, saying my warning was a system error

Log on, and my gold is gone. Not in bank, not in coin pouch.

Did RuneScape delete my money?

and how do I make money in EoC from scratch? All my levels are in the 70 area

(and please don't say go to 07, I want to try EoC)

Ouch, very unfortunate mate. If you want, I can give you a mil or so to help you recoup some of your losses. But make sure your account is secure. But yeah, I've gotten those emails, never open em man, the only place you'll ever be notified of an offense is in your actual mailbox on the runescape site, and then the page that lists your offenses (where you can appeal and stuff). Never trust anything offsite, EVER.

 

For a general life tip, it's worth noting that (within the U.S at least) you need to send written correspondence notifying someone of a suit. Never only via email.

If you need to start with none, I suggest you to get at least 5k and then
(1) buy a magic short bow and some arrow
(2) buy some cheap food, like swordfish or lobster
(3) go killing some Green dragons at north of Goblin Village. Since this place is in the wilderness, you can even try to kill the bot and getting bulk of bones and hide.
Of course, after you got some decent money, you can try to do bossing for more profit.
