    If a buyer is going to ask a seller to do a transfer like this which is clearly risky, it should be the buyer's responsibility. Clearly the 40m had been put on the table before he got booted.

    When you put gold on the table it takes at least 1 minute for it to appear. You were banned before that time was up, meaning the gold would have been deleted by Jagex. Even if it wasn't, Arcus' account would have been slapped with a gold farmer RWT ban. Closing this as an unfortunate event.
