I got totally pwned,
I don't even know how it happened.
Last night, I went to bed around midnight, I wake at 7:00am, and when I wake
ALL of my accounts have recoveries removed, and someone has set an e-mail.
Like WTF?

 

That could only mean two things. One you have a keylogger, two someone just guessed your password. I suggest scan your computer to check for any viruses.

 

Wow, harsh. Were the passwords the same for ALL your accounts?

 

Its probably a key logged, virus scan your cpu.

 

Or maybe he bought the account, and it was hacked back?

 

How many accounts are we talking about lol but man that stinks.

 

Really sucks but I would seriously do that virus scan everyone else has mentioned.

 

if it is a keylogger, don't try recover your account on that pc as they will get all details old recoveries an shit and then ur account be a gonner.

The only reason I can think of for that is you have a keylogger or something.
Virus scan your computer immediately.

 

Don't bother virus scanning your computer.

First, hop onto another computer, manually change each of the accounts' password into something different. If you have time, reset the recoveries and all that info and get his e-mail off.

Second, after you're done with all that, go back to the computer you were using. Save all the programs you don't want to lose onto a USB, reinstall the whole computer.

This way, you strikeout both the options of having a keylogger and someone guessing your password. You also avoid the time it takes to scan your computer as the guy doing this can use that time to do more.

 

My password was changed when I was out during an order from USFine. I believe them that it wasn't them. I've seen a lot of this happened on the RS Forums within the last 48 hours. Wtf happened?

Lmao, to be fair, you shouldnt of let some fail runescape hacker onto your pc in the first place.

 

I've had 2 keyloggers in my lifetime, and they weren't smart enough to even take my accounts. I recommend not to download anything, or open anything through msn, as they usually contain keyloggers. Just put your computer on safe mode and virus scan it a few times with any program possible.

 

Its stupid files.

Norton Antivirus
Windows Updates
Java
Adobe Shockwave Player
and iTunes
Practically all my ports are closed,
I'm not stupid enough to get e-mail reverted.
I don't understand.
I scanned my computer with 3 different virus/malware scanners, and they have found nothing.
I am the original owner of the account, so it's not possible, each account has it's own UNIQUE password, with combinations of numbers+letters.
which I have written down in a booklet, which is locked away with all my info inmy safe, which I only know the combo to.
What should I do?
