WoW + Kinect.

Pretty dam legit. Thoughts?

That would be horrid. OK I guess if you only have 2 spells you wanna cast, rofl.

 

I dont think you see the point in it at all.

If you watched the video, you would know you can assign different body movements to different keys, ending up in limitless "Body-Binds" you could make, so you could cast all your spells.

No its obviously not superior to the keyboard and mouse, and never will it. It's just a new fun aspect you could add to the game, so instead of having someone sit on their ass all day playing WoW you could stand on your ass and move around all day playing WoW.

 

Damn, I wish i could figure out how to stand on my ass.

 

That's actually pretty cool, maybe they'll do it with some other games too.

It's an emulator, you can use it with any game that uses keybinds. Its a basic body movement assigned to a key program.

 

So now people are to lazy to click a mouse.

Pretty sure standing up and moving your body requires a lot more effort then the movement of a finger.

 

I can now work out and play WoW... WOW

OT: Seems pretty cool, but I hope it can be used with other games.

 

I actually wouldn't mind trying it if i had some smart guy to set it up.. and Kinect.

That looks sweet! i like how you could literally "cast" a frostbolt and such. But i also see this as more of a casual thing since keyboard / mouse would be way better. Still cool to know it could exist .

 

No. You obviously didn't watch the video fully, or read any of my post.

It works by binding a certain body movement to a key on your keyboard.

IE: Left arm out binded to a on your keyboard - Resulting in your character turning left when you put your left arm out.

Yea I'd see it as more of a party game now ? Have some mates over and try to pvp with Kinect would definitely be laughable.

because I play to have fun and being practical means I am competitive which is the main point in games such as WoW

You obviously have never played world of warcraft, or read any of my post.

In world of warcraft there are two ways to turn, via your mouse or via your keyboard. With this your forced to use only your keyboard method (BECAUSE YOUR BODY MOVEMENTS ACT LIKE PRESSING KEYS), which in turn means you cannot turn via the mouse method.

Thus it's horrible.
