would it be possible to get barrows gloves and then bot defence, get your defence reset, and then be 1 defence with barrow gloves? when you are reset does jagex take the armor you're wearing off? it would be sick to wear bandos, neitiznot, and dragon boots at 1 defence.

 

It is possible, but very risky and there is A LOT of luck involved, because they could easily choose to ban you instead of reset your levels. But if you wanted to risk it, go ahead, and if you succeed, then post pics, because that would epic.

I have seen a picture of a user who had a thieving cape, and then got their thieving reset to 1, and they were still wearing the cape.

So theoretically, you could, but as soon took the armour off, you wouldn't be able to put it back on, so idk the benefit except to look cool for a short time

There was a level 4 with Fcape somewhere on sythe

 

It does give a bonus. My friend had a skill cape and it got reset back to 1 and then when he took everything else off and checked his equipment stats, it had the skillcape bonus.

There was a glitch similar to this in Dung that was fixed about 10 minutes after it was possible, but where you could wear a piece of armour that required 99 def no matter what your def lvl was, even if it was 1, and it still gave you bonuses. However upon taking it off you cannot put it back on.

 

Not impossible but very risky as I know someone who is level 4 with a firecape.

He botted 70 ranged and 43 pray in like 3 days and he got a fire cape and then his stats got rolled back lol.

 

so it would give bonuses? i can't even imagine how fun it would be to pk on a pure with high def and str boosting gear

 

100% possible, floating around on few forums people think its a bug other says its due to people botting etc, would be cool ehh. low level max strength gear fire cape and b gloves with 1 def pking.

 

It is definitely possible, but in my opinion - It's due to extreme luck as I don't think resets are caused by macro-abuse.

I have a hard time believing that Jagex would encourage people affected to send in queries, as opposed to simply ignoring it or publicly announcing that it is the punishment for breaching that rule.
