Worth it?

I was wondering if RuneScape 3 is worth playing anymore? I recently got one of my main accounts banned which had mostly all 99's, now I'm starting fresh on a rare name account. Is it worth coming back to? And should I play in Legacy mode? Also, what's the best bot out ATM?

 

If like EoC go for it, if not try out 07. EoC is just not for me.

 

I'm talking about Legacy Mode, not EOC.

 

i just started back on rs3 i had 2 accounts banned on oldschool so i just stopped playing but im back f2p for now and its fun to kill time as far as botting i wouldnt on rstill new robotz in disguise bot comes out too high of ban rates at moment but you get bored hit me up rsn: a n n a n

 

Which bot would you guys suggest for the lowest ban rate?

 

Play 2007 scape instead!! much more worth.

 

I play RS3, log in and try it out for yourself, everyone hear will just say it's shit and to not play but in reality it's not half bad.

Its all opnions. IMO Its an ok choice to come back but only content you see is pvm and grinding exp. Also don't bot mate. very high chance of getting banned but if you are gonig to bot, maybe Tribot would be good.

Sucks to hear that your main got banned. However, if you have a desire to play RuneScape legit you can start playing Rs3/Legacy again. However, if you liked Runescape in 2007-2008, I'd suggest you to buy membership, and start playing Rs07/OSRS.

It all depends on what floats your boat. For me, Rs3 is complicated and it slightly lags on my laptop. This is because I came back to RuneScape 3 years after, so I wasn't used to the new items, quests, abilities. Therefor, I bought membership and started playing 07.

Well runescape keeps bringing out new content which is great.
I do not play it myself anymore but I can understand if you still want to play it.
It is a pretty good game if you look at it, maybe it isn't what it used to be.

To bot, I would say simba. Last time I used it (like 6-12 months) it had an extremely low ban rate. While all other clients were having a ridiculously high ban rate.

 

With your prior play experience, getting an account to a high level with 99s would take a fraction of the effort with the current exp rates. RS3 updates have shifted more towards end-game content (mostly bossing), if that is your sort of style and enjoy the game, it wouldn't be much to rebuild an RS3 account.

 

I feel like RS3 is more fun than 07 in terms of what you get for what you pay, but if you like the old combat system, definitely go to 07 instead.

 

As others have said it just depends what you prefer. I would personally recommend playing with the EoC combat and using revolution, it's much better than legacy without any extra effort. If you want to be more efficient you can use the threshold abilities which you have to do yourself, but this is definitely worth it given how much more damage you'll do compared to legacy mode.

If you can't cope with that, definitely go to oldschool.

I would advise against botting. The ban rate is extremely high - If you don't get banned quickly, you'll most likely get banned a month or two later once they finish analysing your bot (and detecting everyone else using it before banning you).

The general game isn't that bad. People give it much more hate than it deserves.

Anytime I get on its for shits and giggles. My main account that was 10 years old got banned along with my mules for botting. So alot of time down the tube I guess. I never take rs as serious as I did when it was in its prime.

Hell If it makes you happy then play. But jagex has upped the ban rate on botting.

 

It's worth it if you put work into your account and friends who play it. Or if you are a nostalgic person. Otherwise, just go where your endeavors or interests lie.

 

Don't let others' opinions affect your judgement; if you play it and explore all the features you'll know for yourself. People either love it or hate it so don't go back or not based on what others say.

 

Mostly of my friends play 07scape, botting now is a risk on both servers so i advice you to not bot your main if u wanna keep an account.
