Windows Xp or Linux?

My computer currently has windows Xp, but is linux better? and can i get it for my computer? Please tell me which one is better.

Kubuntu fo sho'. Its so much better than XP or Vista , runs fast , and has no viruses because it doesnt use .exe files , but make sure u find out the drivers u need for sound , wi - fi , etc because they arent packed with it , there are a few stock ones but thats about it.

People say ubuntu is better then xp because it uses less resources but tinyxp and tiny vista use less then linux.


If you the kinda person who doesn't get windows updates and uses nortan anti virus ul prob get infected if u use xp.

You're going to change back to XP. Trust me. A ton of programs doesn't work with Linux, including games like WoW.

 

you can run WoW on linux the same as it runs on windows by using Wine. Linux is alot better than windows in terms of security and speed plus a lot of windows software can be made to work on linux but the thing you have to consider is do you want to be tinkering with the settings and OS to make windows programs run on linux? or do you even have the ability to do those types of things? If you like messing with the settings and troubleshooting problems then go with linux but if not stick with XP.

It would be best to just get mac os x because there is no problems with it. Windows has the most spyware and viruses and mac and linux and none because it is very hard to make it for macs.

Yes, Windows has the most spyware/viruses. Why? Unlike OS X, it is used enough to attract negative attention.

 

The only reason Linux and Mac doesn't have viruses is that hackers don't target those systems.

Wow fuck you, macs are the worst piece of shit ever, no one even wants to make viruses for them because almost no one uses them. Besides, who would want to fuck up a mac more then it already is.

 

Macs really aren't that bad, i would know. I get on my friends mac every other day for gfx art and movie editing, and it's amazing.
