Hey, I'm currently going back to training mylongterm PK'er until membership runs out/I get bored of training it. That, and I sold my verac staker (65 defence, so nearly finished him) for a tidy bit of money. Anyway, I'm just trying to work out what I need to do next on this account, so I was thinking I'd get some suggestions from you guys. Attack: 52 Strength: 50 Defence:40 Range: 68 Prayer: 44 Mage: 74 HitPoints: 64 CURRENT STATS att: 52 Str: 52 (Got from doing Drag Slayer) def: 50 (Woot! Granite!) range: 70 prayer:44 Mage: 74 Hitpoints: 65 So, what i'm currently doing is ranging blue dragons (Mith bolts slay them nicely, ). I'm going to be doing this until 80 range or so, which is when I plan to do Desert Treasure. Anyway, in between ranging I'm getting up Theiving (Currently 34) and other req's for DT. So, now I'm thinking. Should I start training attack to 70 and get a whip, then train defence and become a tank quite early(With 75-80 range) or wait untill I hit 80+ range? Anyway, i'm thinking I want 70 defence before i go pk'ing anyway. I should do nicely wearing full Karils. It's cheap and has good defence and range bonus'. But, i don't know. What do you guys think? Stop ranging when I hit 70 and train attack and defence, or just go train defence with a rune scimmy/Maul? Or stay at 50 defence for awhile longer? Also. When do you think I should get 52 prayer? I'm thinking when my combat is around 75-80 would be a good time, as that's when a lot of whippers start showing themselves. But, i don't know. Also, do you think it's worth doing dt? I was thinking of Bursting them twice(I want to do 30 damage at leaste) then mage bow spec with rune arrows. After that, switch to rune c'bow and shoot off three or four dragon bolts for the k0. Basically, I just want some input.
OK. For all future posters, please pay careful attention. I'm not going to become a rune pure. I'm range/mage based. End of story. All I need help on now is deciding when I should get 70 defence.
no definetly not 70 def, it will only come in handy if you are getting into long long fights. as a range/mager you are hoping to get kill before they even realise they are being attked. so 70 def is a waste of cb lvls and time
No one can KO someone so quickly they don't even realise it... well, except if you're pj'ing someone or are maulling and they're low levels... but anyway.. This account is for staking and Pk'ing. And yeah. Anyway, I got 50 defence today so I can stake in full granite. That'll help me a lot, i think.
No, no I didn't. I sold my Verac Staker to a friend from school. Also, I think you've got to have proof before you go accusing people. So, please refrain from posting on this thread again, and grow up. No one likes a liar. Back on topic, now. I won 400k in four stakes early this morning (Bout 12-2am Australian EST). 200k off of the same guy. First with armor on, and then with spec off. I don't think 44 prayer ruins it. Didn't use Granite armor, though. I'll buy some later, though, with the winnings from last night. Also, if Rune Pures around level 70 want to fun me, armor on, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm just trying to work out how well I'd go against people wearing full rune. Hopefully I'll do alright, if not I'll have to start looking up peoples stats which takes away some of the fun in dueling. Hockey: Finally, someone here who shows some intelligence! Yes, a range tank. I'm just curious as to what levels I should get before I head for 70 defense. I'm thinking of staying at 50 for awhile, seems to own quite nicely.
