Whats the difference?

I was just wondering what is the difference between an email login and a username login on runescape.

? It all depends on when you registered to the game. Older users need to use their original screen name while newer users have to use the email used to make the account.

 

I meant is it like easier to recover you're account?

 

You're meaning registered email then, not login email/username.

It would naturally be easier to recover an account when you have access to the registered email.

 

Nothing really. Just user name would be more prone to hacking as Original name and guessing password happen often to stupid people.

 

It ensures that your in game screen name is different than your runescape name for security purposes (although you can change your name if you are a member).
