what is hijacking

I've been seeing multiple threads on being banned from hijacking

what exactly is hijacking??

When people interfere in a thread, to mention something off topic. Or something along those lines.

 

Usually when an account was affiliated with a phished account or stolen account.

 

I believe he was referring to runescape, seeing as this is runescape general and all.

Anyways, Account Hijacking is simply stealing other peoples' accounts. Not too many people are banned for this however. I have been hijacking for 3 years now and have had no bans for it.

i was wondering because my friend got banned for no reason for it...

do people ever catch u for account shareing

 

In his appeal he could say he was sharing an account, though either way he would receive blackmarks for it. Really the only time you get caught for account sharing/trading is if you say it in public chat or ask for a free account.
Your friend probably was mistakenly banned for hijacking when he was sharing a friends multiple accounts or something, or training accounts on sythe.

 

I think it has something to do with phishing or account sharing, its unappealable btw =(

 

i had a level 4 get banend for Hi-Jacking, Suprisingly, they didn't link it to my other accounts

It's when you steal other person/s accounts.
