Eoc is Runescapes combat system, evolution of combat. It's changed the way combat works as you can use abilities to hit more and do combos, as well as the removal of special attacks and protection prayers giving 100% protection. It's made the game more challenging than a standard point and click, with different methods required to win. If you like a challenge with dual wielding and your hitpoints affected by what armor you choose to wear, then it's for you. If you liked rs combat the old way, then you can create a new account on the 2007 servers. Also, with the EoC you don't have to use the abilities etc, you can use momentum which keeps combat similar to the old system, just with the prayer/armor/weapon changes still present.
