Do you think Jagex knows about black market sites such as Sythe because when you search in google "Runescape black-market" this is the first thing to come up. Even when you search "Runescape bot" rsbot comes up first. I mean they are so easy to find on the Internet and I'm just wondering do they know about these black-market sites or bot sites

Of course they know about this and other sites. If we can find it, nothing stops them from finding it either.

 

Ofcourse they know about Sythe..One reason your not supposed to say your RSN or have pictures of your RSN showing is because they can easily bann you for it.

 

I mean they don't do anything?

 

Has anyone actually been banned for showing their username?

 

What can they do? You can't stop a blackmarket.

 

What could they do? As long as they dont know your rsn then they have no clue who you are on Sythe or in game.

There are a few Runescape Mods who buy/sell accounts on Sythe. Its a game, not a law.

 

Of course Jagex knows about rs black market websites, botting websites, and gold sites. There's a reason why some forums have a clause where you can't be affiliated in any way, shape, or form, with Jagex to enter/sign up with the site.

 

Basically, what everyone already stated, as long as they don't have your rsn, no accusations or bans cans be made in the game what so ever.

Even though it's just a game, the law does affiliate with the game in certain aspects.

Well one thing I know is Jagex isn't aloud to view or register on this site. So they definitely know about it.

I did hear a couple of very rare names get deleted after being discovered they were involved for real world trading. Also some raged banned kid reported a couple names to Jagex as well.
