Weird problem With PC

I noticed my PC is ALWAYS ready for updates around 12pm and needs to restart. I updated 5x and keep doing this. can someone PLEASE HELP ME.

 

Start > Controll Panel > Automatic Updates > Turn Automatic Updates Off > Ok

Yes same thing happenes to me, but when i turn it off my Mcfee goes all flippy saying my computer isnt safe. Just leave it and ignore the icon in the corner

 

What system are you running on?

If your running on Vista, you might aswell update whenever it tells you to, those updates can be important, especially since vista is relatively new.

 

Start>All Programs>Windows Update

get everything there and install then it should leave you alone you want to do that ever 2 weeks or so

 

You can put that off by going to

Start > Control Panel > Security Center > Change the way Security Center alerts me (you can find that at the left) > Then unmark everything > Ok
