weird login

ok well i found this out a while back but i just now decided to ask what it is, i was messin around and typed @red on the runescape login page under username and it made me type red lettering, then i tried with multiple colors like gold and gree and it works with almost every color i use, anyone know why this happens?

 

You mean to get into the actual game? Or on the website? It doesn't work for me.

 

i think they just transfered the colors you used in rsc to the color thing in the login... idk why maybe cuz they thought it was cool?

for you guys it doesnt work for, you have to go to the game login after you pick the world, then type @(color) then type a name or somthing

 

Go to www.runescape.com
Go to Play Runescape.
Go play in High Detail.
Go to any world you want.
Press @red or another colour in the place where your name should be.
This works with quite some colours. You can just type the first 3 letters of the colour and the coulour will appear flashing.

Bot a big glitch but lol.

I know why it does this.
On their client for the existing server, you can add new @colors by modifying something in a class file...
You make a line of code that includes the new 3 letter name and the HTML color code of the new color.
It's simple, I made a tut on it on Mopar... this means Jagex probably just carries on with the coexisting client, adding new stuff, never changing bases.
