Way back when...

when santa hats were 100k each, and each rune set you pk'd you could trade for a santa.

 

I remember, when I was 12, and I believed that 3k was a huge amount. I actually thought that 1Gp=1Real Dollar. So, you can imagine me flipping out when someone felt really generous, and gave me 60k for abosolutly nothing =). I miss getting excited over little items...

 

My mate told me about that, so I went and got about 85k arrows, took ages, and it didn't work, apparently I did it the day it was patched.

 

i remember that fi you were a good pker, you could get multiple whips a day

i also remember when there were less noobs around, and more decent players.

i also also remember how you could get 3m a day with a mate by selling worthless junk for heaps

 

I did that, too! I got about 50k arrows and I was like YEAH BITCH, and then I looked at my inventory when I got to the main land and they had vanished. <__<

 

i remember in RSC i went to dorics anvils begging for iron. and trying to get 99 smithing, and only made it to 66

 

I remember being lured into the wild after an ancient dropped 10k on the ground. I lost 120k that day....I thought about shooting my monitor.

Not that this was a long time ago, but I also remember endless trails of trust game parties trying to win their free zammy set. Good times.

 

I remember when u were considered ownage/rich if you had a whip when slayer first came out :nuts: .

 

I remember when I went to some place, don't remember were, but I had to mine these blurite rocks, and I just took all my money (270k!!), didn't think it would harm.
But well, way too low level, got killed and lost it all.
Went back and there was the nicest dude in the world, he just gave me back all my stuff.
That was the best day, when there were still nice people, and real friends.

I remember when you could trade in fally in the park and make so much profit, just sell it in another world. (Like Robin Hood sets).

I really miss those times, everything was just so normal, so easy, not so complicated. I want to go back. Hate the stupid new graphics.
This game should be just normal, crappy graphics, that's just the game.

 

I remember PK'ing in the Dark Knight's Castle and Bandit's Camp. Oh man, those were the days.

I remember when purple phats were like 6m, and when you were a noob killing chickens and getting their feathers was the best way to make money. I remember when that guy got the first whip and was showing it off in falador. I remember 3 specs with granite mauls.

I remember 150k rune plates and 100k ammys of glory. I've played 6 1/2 years off and on. Great game lots of good memories... way to addictive though. I also remember gaining 2mil staking in a day and losing it all and thinking it was a big deal lol.

Sleeping bags were the shiz too. I loved them.

i rememver way back when i used ta money scam (1000004 to 10k 2m to 20 etc) still remember the guy at ardy zoo who i paid 40k for whip n full guthix (worth around 4.3 at the time)
