    It wasn't illegal. The site was in breach of Jagex's terms and condition's + service. That's doesn't make it illegal; it's up to Jagex how they deal with the sites.

    OT: So is the site secure again? Would it be okay to purchase scripts from them ?

    Learn what your talking about - botting is not illegal just punishable by the game makers with bans and threats of law suits. He is being sued for identity fraud - he stole Perfecticus' identity to gain control over the website.
