    Hi I know how Bitcoin works already and I've used coinbase in the past but I was wondering where to get a solid wallet to use instead.

    Samourai wallet on mobile is the best, electrum and greenaddress are both pretty good for desktop. If you have a desktop with a reliable Internet connection, you can run a Bitcoin Core full node so you can validate your own transactions.
