After losing out on two jobs because I didn't have a working portfolio thingy up, I figured it was time to make one !

I haven't touched photoshop (although this was made in gimp) for like 6 months, so I dunno.

There is supposed to be some lorem ipsum generic dummy text or whatever in the "content boxes" ! If you cannot see the text, please tell me what browser it is that you are using !

I would like critiquing on my actual layout, and maybe an idea on how to get the text in the "content boxes" to show up.

(The code will be xhtml/css compliant once I get the look working)

If you are going to leave stupid comments like "looks cool" or "shitsux" or whatever, please do not post ! I only want things that will help me !

Needs to be centered, but other then that, I liek it.

EDIT: Umm... I was just messin with the site, and I highlighted the image in the first box, dragged it across the screen and... Well, text appeared...

 

Yeah, the text is there, just not visible. I don't know why, I have the color set in the CSS and all.

And the layout doesn't look good centered, I've already tried that.

 

*Squints for dear life* Is that box suppose to be that small . It looks decent, could use some centering and more content.

 

Most layouts look better centered. =P
