Vps?

I've heard of these things called "VPS"'s and, apparently, they're a way to bot without having your computer on? Could somebody please explain to me what they are, how they work, and how they differ from a VPN?

Also, tell me which VPS is best (cheap too) for botting kMiner (possibly two).

VPS is basically a virtual computer. My vps that I purchased from rsbotVPS is located in Australia (I live in Canada.) A VPS lets you run multiple bots (depending on the package you buy) 24/7, even if your own computer is turned off. Many people with slow personal computers will purchase a VPS to bot on.

I heard burst.net ran into some problems and are now closing the nexus client shortly after you open it. The only other VPS I could tell you about is from this site:

I suggest you wait a few days until some issues are sorted out. Since this site is a reseller of burst.net, the nexus client is also automatically getting closed. They are getting a new provider or something though, which will eliminate the problem.

Yes, all the programs/info needed are given too you after purchase, most VPS will require Putty and Team viewer.

 

putty and ultravnc viewer. you could download teamviewer but you probably dont want it for connecting to the vps.

rsbotvps has new servers so it's safe to place orders now, the website was taken down when the issue was found and its back up now.
