VPS Botting

Hey I wanna buy a VPS to only use 1 bot on. I have no idea about what specs I should get. I'm currently looking at the cheapest one.

CPU - 1 core
RAM - 512MB
Disc space - 25GB
Bandwidth - 100mbps

Would that be OK to run 1 Runecrafting/Fighter (Oldschool Runescape) bot on?

Would not run 1 bot smoothly.
I'd say go for 2 core, 1g and a bit more bandwith MINIMUM

Don't forget you have to set the bot up, different OS versions behave differently to java applications and bot software.

I woudln't use carbonhost because their ip's are probably flagged due to being a popular rs vps and jagex usually flags them that are public.

 

Best to use a VPS service that is not widely used for botting.
I hear it's best to have 2 cores for RS, but maybe for rs07 1 core will cut it.
Rule of thumb is ~256mb RAM per client (and note the OS, etc. take a bit of RAM).
So I assume the VPS specs you listed could run 1, MAYBE 2 bots.

 

I suggest using private Vps
and as everyone said above that its best to have 2 cores for Rs (recommended)

 

I would recommend to go for one that has 2 core instead of 1, not sure about the rest though.

100mbps could easily power 1 bot or even 10.

You should have no problem running 1 bot with those specs.

 

Its really risky using a VPS to bot its often accounts on a VPS last little to no time compared to ones ran on home computers. Goodluck on your investment though.
