VPN Question

I am considering the benefits of using a VPN to sell gp. I am hesitant to buy a VPN because I know that many other gold sellers use them. Because of this, many of the most reliable VPN services are probably heavily used by gold sellers. (These services usually only have a few hundred IP addresses available.) As such, using a VPN might not actually be beneficial!

As an alternative, I am considering using public internet connections at locations like coffee shops and airports to sell my gp. I can use a computer with no confidential information on it for security purposes. And I highly doubt that people snooping around for information on public networks are interested in video game usernames/passwords.

What do you think? Are VPNs actually useful considering there are a limited number of reliable ones that are probably all used by other gold sellers? Is it better to take the risk of using public internet connections?

I touched this subject in the other thread aswell, but let me add this - I doubt the majority of gold sellers use VPNs anyway, the pool of users might be smaller than you think.
