Vouching

Hi, just wanted to post some stuff about vouches, vouching etc, obviously to new comers post count/vouches are laregely what they base who they can trust on, and theres Alot of things i see vouched that i think are really, well, no trust is involved so i don't think a vouch should be given for it.

Example - when people vouch for getting stupid levels like 10-20 attack and stuff like that, theres no real element of trust in these cases.

Free accounts - When someone gives someone else an Account for FREE, vouching for this shouldn't be Allowed.... Theres is no trust here At all...

Its so easy for people to get like 50+ vouches for doing basically nothing, now obviously i check the vouches people have before i trade with them, and if i see all there vouches are like skilling services where they haven't been paid etc, then i'l insist they go 1st, but for alot of new comers they may just assume they can trust the person because hes got 50+ vouches.

I read the rules again and it mentions self vouching but nothing about the types of vouches etc i'd just like to see that specific section of the rules expanded a bit, vouching when there is no element of trust shouldn't be allowed imo.

 

I agree much of the trust built on this site from what I have seen have been based on vouches.

To a user considering buying low training, a vouch for 10-30 cooking may be relevant. At the same time, a $10 trade may be irrelevant to someone who intends to trade $400.

Each trader needs to use a bit of common sense to decide what vouches matter for the trade they're doing: if a vouch doesn't say what it's for, just disregard it.
