Vouch thread control

I really think vouch threads should NOT be allowed to be posted in unless they have a vouch to give on the vouch threads should be off limits to post on.
the reason I believe this should be changed is because:

this vouch thread has been ruined by stupid guys flaming this girl if she's really a girl, hey, It may be a guy, but they shouldn't flame her vouch thread.

vouch threads are meant to be organized not making conversation, the spam forum NEEDS it's limits. they're should be a strict rule on posting on different types of threads. e.g. it should be against the rules to repeat something someone else said if an answer is needed.

Vouch threads should not be posted on unless there is a vouch being posted.

If anyone can delete all those post's on that thread and any other's they may see.
Sythe's spam forum need's some change.
That's not the only section with a problem but It's a start. Sythe members should be respected in the spam forum as well as anywhere else. the spam forum honestly needs some stricter guidelines.
possibly a special section in the off-topic for vouch threads and repear answers still should not be allowed.

It's just a way for people to get more post cont over nothing.
one of our fellow sythe members has an average of 140 posts per day!
that is crazy!
We need stricter posting guidelines fast because everyone who just joined may have 200-1000+ posts already, and still growing.

and most of it is just them repeating someone else's answer on a thread when an answer is no longer needed.

I wonder why you're so upset that we spam vouch threads. Does it really effect you in any way? I mean, the only reason we do spam vouch threads are because they are in the spam forum. It's not like you have to go into that section. Plus, your post count doesn't go up in the spam forum.

 

yes but people like there things organized, including myself.

people should respect other's thread's some things should not be spammed in the spam for certain reasons but hell you can spam any thread's you want if it's not a vouch thread/important thread etc...

there should be some limits on where you can post your joke posts, but everything need's it's limit's, the organized the better in my opinion.

 

Vouch threads are the best ones to spam so I don't agree with regulating a forum based on spam with more rules.

a)people shouldn't spam there personal threads
b)new section for vouch threads only
c)there should be consequences for not posting something other then a vouch on a vouch thread.
just some idea's to give people there space, yes It may be fun to spam someone but try to keep it out of vouch threads. Vouch thread's should not be spammed. they are meant to be organized. NOT spammed

 

You have some vouches you want to keep safe? Save them in a text file on your computer. If you have one or two, you can place them in your signature.

Better yet, why don't you keep your vouches in your services thread? Sure, it'll be cluttered a bit, but you'll have no spam.

cp has a very valid point. Plus, most of the time people just quote their vouches and edit their first post and add them.

 

yes I have my vouches on a file, but it shouldn't have to be like that, people shouldn't be spammed for that, I recommend putting a section for vouch threads only and no spam allowed just vouches/vouch threads.

It just makes things a little easier and organized hopefully.

also you can easily make a new mod to keep things organized if they could.
but that's a hard job for one guy but it's just an option

What's so special about vouch threads that they deserve there own section? Who really wants to see 10 vouches for giving things away free? Plus, there's already a mod for that spam forum: Zypur.

 

Sythe should make a vouch forum, one thread per member, one post per thread.

 

yes but as someone else said, what if your computer crashes and you lose that file, it's good to have a back-up.
I don't have a vouch thread and I keep mine on a microsoft word file. It's fine for now. but other's use there vouch threads and shouldn't have it spammed just because they are in the spam forum. They should have their own section or threads should not be allowed to be posted in unless a vouch is happening

admins/mods: since it has been attempted so many times, how many people do you think may need this.

I'm not necissarily asking for a vouch forum, just the not in the spam forum because people annoy your vouch threads. its not needed. please either put some guidelines on these threads / make a new section / or add the ability to put vouch threads else where

 

Vouch thread's are spam

Spam belongs in the spam forum

Hence the name "Spam"

If you don't like it, then simply don't go into the forum, and you wont be bothered with it!!

you guys arn't the only one's here. just because leechers and members use vouch threads doesn't mean they arn't important.
I'd like to see this forum with only you mods grandmasters and whoever else. it'll suck. I've been there.
you need to respect the fact that they use these threads and you guys spamming them won't help them keep track
it's just plain disrespect. you guys need some damn respect and learn to help the "noobs" and accept them into our COMMUNITY and by doing that you have to pay attention to what they want. Not just "TJ".

 

The flaming is not really necessary now is it? I mean, you suggested something and just because we disagree with you, you get all pissy. I think vouch threads are fine where they are. And TJ is right, it has been mentioned over and over again and denied. You should be happy they let you make them in the spam forum. Would you rather have them there or not allowed at all?
