Vision Ex - First Steps.

Alright, so today I bought a few things. First thing I bought, was a Professional Microphone. It's being shipped to me right now. The second thing I bought, was a producer's sound kit. It's got over 9 thousand professional quality sounds, with different feelings, tones, and instruments.

Today, I made my first beat with the sounds, using Sony Vegas 8.0. I am thinking about getting Adobe Sound Booth so that I can edit the 9 thousand sounds further, since I have more experience with that program, but here is my first loop. I am just playing around, and I don't really like the outcome, but I'm glad I've got the basics of the program I'm using, and I think it's not bad for a first try. I know the background doesn't really suit the bass-line, but I also knew I was going to need some kind of noise as a base sound, so I found the easiest one to work with. I will work with that base-sound more dominantly in the future, building off of that.

For the clapping thingy, it should be slower. But otherwise it sounds pretty good. That stuff at the start doesn't really suit it.

How much does this cost you?

 

The sound kit was 80 dollars. it's much MUCH more expansive than what you hear. I can do nearly endless things with it, but I am not using the right programming. I'm getting Fruity Loops right now, so that I can adjust pitch and tone. I should be coming out with some other things soon. Something much better.
